The History

You would be hard pressed to find someone in Ireland who doesn’t know about Coppers! Fondly known as Coppers, it is named after John Scott, the first Earl of Clonmel – Scott who happened to be a heavy drinker and was more commonly known as ‘Copper Faced Jack’.

In 1996 when Jackson Court Hotel opened its doors we also opened a basement nightclub that quickly became a must-see place in Dublin City – in fact, today you can even see a musical based on a night out in the famous club.
